The purpose of this research is to methodologically explain and evaluate the process of the conceptual analysis of "education" in the research entitled "An Introduction to the philosophy of education in the Islamic Republic of Iran" (Baqeri, 2010) and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of this process and its results. This process has been explained by retrospective analysis and external and internal critique. To achieve the objectives of the study, the process of conceptual analysis used to define “education” in the “research” was methodologically explained, leading to the identification of seven methodological assumptions for this process. Then, its methodological assumptions were evaluated on the basis of a set of criteria that explain the methodology of processing educational concepts in the philosophy of education with an Islamic approach. These criteria are as follows: 1. No attention to the innovative aspect of the philosophy of education and the credential aspect of concept of education; 2. Not using controversial reasoning in processing the concept of education; 3. No reference to the foundations of stating the natural realities of the human life in defining education; 4. Not considering the needs and aspects of human’s social life in definition of education; 5. Not being committed to the criteria of accrediting educational concepts; 6. Ignoring many of the educational concepts that can be inserted in the semantic network of the Islamic education; 7. Not considering the fixed and changeable aspects of the concept of education; and 8. No far-reaching definition of education that convers various dimensions of human’s evolution.

Human guidance and education serves as the main function of the Quran in all its verses. In the meantime, the process of abrogation and the collection of abrogating and abrogated verses as part of the Qur'anic verses contain significant educational implications. Neglecting this role leads to the notion of futility and ineffectiveness of these verses and is, consequently, the origin of the theory of denial of abrogated verses by some Qur'anic scholars. This article uses survey method to extract educational implication of abrogation process. Among the most important educational implications of the abrogation process are: the basis of weakness of the soul and the change in human’s ability; the goals of fixing one’s faith; achieving self-knowledge and nurturing the mood of committing to divine commands; superiority; obligation in proportion to one’s ability; creating motivation and the educational method of encouraging and trial.

The strong return of religion to the social arena in recent years has tied the future of secular states to their "ability to manage facing with the religious people"; some secular states have considered offering the "religious teachings" as the best path to peaceful coexistence of the religious people, and some introduce these teachings as an obstacle for modernity, which causes the emergence of disagreements and disintegration of the society. The general judgment about the condition of religious education in secular countries is wrong, and there is no way other than case study of countries in this regard. The main question in this study is as follows: “How is teaching religious, and especially Islamic teachings, in Ghana in the West Africa as one of the pioneers in providing "religious education" by the secular state? The research method is analytical-descriptive and the necessary information has been gathered mainly through library research and field study. According to research findings, the Ghanaian government has chosen a path between "education about commitment" and "education from commitment" to provide religious education. In addition, the government is trying to free religious schools and religious centers within certain frameworks and structures. Knowing the approaches and educational policies of this country will bring about an active role in the field of religious education to achieve the international goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The main purpose of this research is to explain the ritual education of the child based on Ibn Sina's educational thinking. The research method is descriptive-analytical and of content analysis type. In Ibn Sina's view, ritual education is the manifestation of wisdom, the great mercy and the blessing of God. It is the manifestation of God’s wisdom because it solidifies the system of human life. It is the manifestation of God’s mercy because God bestows ample rewards to the religious people in the hereafter. And it is the manifestation of God’s blessing because the one committed to religious commands achieves a high knowledge of the Creator. The initial objective of the ritual education is to familiarize the learner with the practices of ritual worship. Its final destination is, in Ibn Sina’s view, to reach the proximity of the One God. The backgrounds for ritual education are marriage and environment. The principles of ritual education include the learner’s familiarization with acts of worship and the principle of equilibrium. As for the methods, one can mention the methods of preparing, modeling, and familiarizing with religious places. The content of the ritual education consists, for Ibn Sina, of all religious rites. Based on Ibn Sina's statements, the factors of ritual education include family, school and friends.

This research has been done using a descriptive-analytical method in order to study the cognitive and metacognitive components of the chastely lifestyle with a look at Islamic sources. The findings indicate that the awareness of the value of chastity, divine reward for the chaste people, the personal and social effects of chastity, the wrong attitude towards chastity, the impairments of avoiding chastity, the right attitude towards chastity and related issues, the internal barriers of chastity, the external barriers of chastity, religious regulations pertaining to chastity, the factors and situations hindering chastity, and the proper method for fulfilling needs and controlling emotions are among the most important cognitive components of lifestyle in Islamic sources. Also, by studying and monitoring the attitude towards and belief in chastity, studying the reasons of attitude towards chastity, correcting and deepening the knowledge regarding the meaning and value of chastity, assessing the validity of attitude and beliefs about issues related to attitude towards chastity, monitoring and improving values, patterns and goals, continuous refining of mental input and thoughts and achieving the identity of chastity can lead to metacognition of the chastely lifestyle.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the stories from Fatima’s lifestyle on the moral development of students using the philosophy for children program. The study was applied in terms of its purpose and quasi-experimental in terms of method. In this study, a pre-test/post-test design was used with control and experiment groups. The statistical population of the study consisted of all sixth grade female students in Shahrbabak primary schools. They were selected using random sampling and randomly assigned to two groups of 112 subjects. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. The validity of the questionnaire was obtained through the Delphi method. The reliability of the questionnaire was obtained using Cronbach's alpha test, which indicates a high or acceptable reliability (more than 0.8). In this research, the components of moral development were as follows: righteousness, acceptance of responsibility, helping others, honesty, keeping one's promise and forgiving the mistakes of others. The data obtained were analyzed using the parameters of descriptive and inferential statistics in SPSS software. In analyzing the data, in the level of descriptive statistics, we used percentage of compression frequency, central index and dispersion; and in the level of inferential statistics, we used independent t-test and the comparative test of independent t-test and uni-variable t-test. Using these tests, the ranking of the variables was done on the basis of separate items for each of the moral components. The results showed that using stories based on Hazrat Fatima’s way of life in P4C program and using the circle called community of inquiry had a positive effect on the children’s moral growth. The researcher’s suggestion is using indigenous stories taken from the Islamic culture along with role-model personages for moral education of the children.
