In this regard, various ideologies have different attitudes on this topic. Viewpoint of divine religions especially Islam in relation to human is holistic. They believe that human perfection is dependent upon balanced development of all his aspects. One of the most recent approaches in humanities and psychology is humanism, which compared to old ones, believes in much attention for human; the issue that it is also emphasized by Islam. However, in spite of similarities between these two standpoints, some discrepancies can be indicated. In this article, first, we examine views of humanism psychologists particularly Ragers on human nature and perfection. Then, we indicate Islam viewpoint based on Koran verses. Finally, using a comparative approach, we discuss on similarities and differences of these two viewpoints in association with human nature.
