The present research aims at investigating and extracting the principles of monotheistic education based on the teachings of the Quran and the Infallible Imams. One of the most fundamental challenges and issues of the common education system is the non-establishment of the comprehensive monotheistic attitude in the educated person, an issue that is much striking in the doubtful atmosphere of the present era. Indeed, although monotheism has been frequently and repeatedly referred to as the ultimate goal of Islamic education, the existing education system deals only with the initial stages of education by presenting some superficial materials on monotheism. In other educational stages, little attention is paid to this basic principle. In the present study, we have used a descriptive, analytical and deductive method to explore the Islamic texts regarding monotheism and education and extract the tenets and principles of monotheistic education based on the Quran and the views of the Infallible Imams. Considering the bases of monotheistic anthropology in the basis of human’s existential poverty, the principles such as the principle of knowledge, relationship and connection, supplication, avoiding pluralism, sincerity, and consent and satisfaction were investigated, and regarding the human’s movement towards God, we dealt with the principles of selection, great effort and strong resolution, proportion and harmony, elevation and transcendence, internal motion and continuation. Finally, the principles of admonition, affection, openness and aesthetics regarding the basis of divine nature and internal orientations specific to human beings were studied.

The present study aims at an analysis of content of textbooks on social studies in primary schools to extract the theoretical model of moral education in those books. The research method was the method of inductive analysis of the qualitative content. To do so, the content of the abovementioned books were investigated from the viewpoints of goals, content, the forms of presenting the content and method (teaching, learning, and assessment). The findings showed that the approach of the textbooks on social studies is an inter-curricula or integrative one. The moral goals are together with other goals of lessons, and the content of the textbooks contain, following the goals, moral themes. The model of setting goals is the pyramid model. Besides, methods such as group discussion, discussion on assumed moral situations, setting models, explanatory method and role-play model were used for teaching-learning. The forms of presenting moral content include text, pictures and practical activities. To evaluate, in addition to usual methods, we suggested methods such as self-assessment.

<strong>ABSTRACT</strong>
The present research aims at assessing the needs of a curriculum based on the Islamic-Iranian lifestyle for high school students. The research method used was descriptive-survey and the statistical society of the research included all female students in high school of the four districts in Karaj city in 1393-1394 educational year. Using the random cluster sampling method, 379 subjects were selected among 28194 students based on Cochran formula. The methods for gathering data were library studies and a researcher-made questionnaire containing 70 questions of Likert spectrum. To confirm the validity of the questionnaire, content validity and the opinions of the experienced experts were used, and after modifications and confirming the validity, the questionnaire was handed out among 30 available students, and Cronbach’s alpha was found to be 0.751. Using SPSS software for data analysis, frequency indices, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were used in descriptive statistics; and one-sample T-test was used for inferential statistics. In the present research, four aspects were investigated: life skills, health and security, culture and art, and religious aspect.
The findings show that except for the aspect of life skills, there is no equilibrium between the desired and existing situations of the curriculum in religious, health and security, and culture and art aspects, and that a proper curriculum is needed.

The present study aims at formulating the “Islamic model for Quality of working life in educational system” as a method for Islamic education of the future generation. The study was conducted through the method of content analysis. To achieve the goal of the research, Allama Jawadi’s <em>Mafatih al-Hayat </em>(1391 SH) and the website for preserving and publishing IRI Supreme Leader’s works were selected through purposive sampling method.
The book was analyzed from the viewpoint of the quality of Islamic working life, and the website was analyzed from the viewpoint of methods for presenting Islamic life quality. In this analysis, first the concepts related to Islamic quality of working life were extracted and then the concepts were classified on the basis of shared content and the four pillars of the school (teacher, student, principal, and the personnel), and thus the Islamic model of quality of life was formulated. Then the methods for creating Islamic quality of life were identified and, finally, the reliability and validity of the model and the methods were investigated and confirmed. In this way, the Islamic model of quality of life and working life as a method for Islamic education of the future generation was formulated and the plan of Islamic education of the future generation in educational system was designed on the basis of the model and the methods.

Traditional arts have had an educational function in the realm of religion and morality. This function was the result of a harmony between form and meaning. The harmony between form and meaning would result in a movement from the outward to inward, and its educative process is formed in this stage. The identity of form with meaning has been neglected in contemporary traditional arts, and accordingly, its educative process has been lost. The question is how the separation between from and meaning has come about and what the consequent defects were. It is presumed that the defect is resulted from the mode of education and the effect of educational system on traditional arts as well as the evaluating standards of the western thought. To get the answer, the related library sources were identified and the artistic features of the ancient and contemporary periods were compared and contrasted through a content analysis, the following findings were obtained: a disorder in unity of form and meaning is the result of (a) a separation between traditional artists and other sciences; (b) neglecting the logical stages of education; and (c) the importance of personal method is due to the principality of individuality and innovation. In view of the achievement, the most important result which is worth noting is the loss of educational aspect due to a disorder in the movement from outward to inward.

Sexual education is a branch of education dealing with discussions such as control and directing sexual desire, healthy relationship between girls and boys, readiness for marriage and familiarity with family rights and duties. The main goal of the present article is a comparison between the views of some Muslim thinkers regarding sexual education and offering a model based on their views. The research paradigm is qualitative and the research design is non-generative. Using the method of purposive sampling, we studied eight Muslim thinkers. The method for gathering data was documentary; that is, while referring to the works of the abovementioned authorities, we extracted the related data and analyzed them using the method of relational content analysis. Finally, using the method of continuous comparison of the data, the categories of discussion on sexual education from the Muslim thinkers’ view were extracted in three sections of goals, method and content. They were then compared and contrasted to present a model.
Although Muslim thinkers were considering childhood and teenage period, their main emphasis was on preparing the youths for marriage and forming family. The results show that the discussions pertaining to goals and methods of sexual education from Muslim thinkers’ view is properly conforming to the cultural atmosphere of the present age. However, some aspects of sexual education they had in mind require revision.
