Five questionnaires regarding Self-Control, Internal-External Control, Moral Intelligence, NEO Personality Inventory and researcher-made Eating-Pattern Test were used as the means of data collection. The data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multiple linear regressions analysis. The research results showed the relationship between non-halal food consumption and self-control, internal locus of contro , standing up for what is right , taking responsibility for personal choices , embracing responsibility for serving others, actively caring about others, ability to let go of others’ mistakes, conscientiousness and also, as a side-finding, a correlation between non-halal food consumption and edacity . Also, enter regression analysis shows that among dependent variables, conscientiousness, standing up for what is right, ability to let go of others’ mistakes and self-control are predicted by non-halal food consumption. According to the results of this study, it is likely that non-halal food consumption is accompanied by consequences of non-conscientiousness. Also non-halal food consumption has inverse relationship with internal locus of control.
