This historical-fundamental inquiry has considered the content of the book entitled “ customs of teachers” through descriptive-analytic methodology to shed light on the location of Maktab, the way it was managed, and the environmental of trainingeducation as far as human interactions, namely, Feqhi, moral, or conventional, has been concerned. In doing so, a number of elements such as the relationship between the teachers and the learners, the forms of management of the religious schools, aims, principles, educational materials, the duties and rights of the teachers as well as the learners have been reviewed; besides, the form of punishment and the defects of the teachers are evaluated.
