Scenario-based education: an educational method in the Quran and narrations

Abstract

One of the most important issues in education is education methods. Perhaps the correct content, because the method is ineffective, does not have the desired educational effect. Discovering the methods that the Holy Lawgiver has used in educating humans is one of the missing links in the jurisprudence of education. The scenario-based education method is one of the methods that has recently been proposed in the psychology of learning. But this method was used by the prophets and infallibles (peace be upon them) many years ago, and its subtleties have been mentioned in verses and narrations. Looking at this topic not through the lens of Western experiences and personal analyses, but through the lens of the Quran and Sunnah and evaluating its effectiveness in the educational path of the infallibles, peace be upon them, is a more serious point of distinction in this article. In this research, using the method of "qualitative content analysis" and the "jurisprudential" method, cases of verses and narrations in which education based on the letter of the Prophet (peace be upon him) has been extracted, and in addition to examining the documentary and credibility, it has been examined by means of evidence, and its educational details have been discovered and analyzed.
