Abstract

Examining emotional intelligence in Sahifah Sajjadiyah helps people become familiar with the skills of controlling their emotions and feelings and have positive and effective relationships with others. The purpose of this article was to extract a conceptual model of emotional intelligence in Sahifah Sajjadiyah. This qualitative research has carefully collected the codes using the content analysis method and has shown their relationship in principle with MAXQDA software. The results of this research have analyzed emotional intelligence in the prayers of Sahifah Sajjadiyah into four components. The self-awareness component includes the axes of human weaknesses and limitations, slips and pollutions of the soul, and the special place of man in creation; the self-control component includes the axes of repentance and divine forgiveness, reliance on divine grace and mercy, seeking help from divine ability and power, following divine guides, moving with a state of fear and hope, and avoiding worldliness and preoccupation with the hereafter; The empathy component includes the axes of moral understanding in interacting with others, maintaining the dignity of others, loving others, and supporting and helping others; and the social skills component includes establishing social cohesion and creating social guidance and security.
