This article represents some critical considerations about the first two chapters of the first volume of "An Introduction to the Philosophy of Education in the Islamic republic of Iran", written by Khosrow Bagheri. In the first chapter, the author introduces three approaches to Islamic Philosophy of Education and after explaining their characteristics and pointing out some disadvantages of the first two, chooses the third approach as a foundation for his work. The second chapter discusses three methods in Philosophy of Education, which are: (1) Conceptual analysis and interpretation, (2) Practical syllogism, and (3) (Quasi-) transcendental analysis. Critical considerations of the first chapter of the book are discussed in the first part of this article, including "General and foundational considerations" and "Particular considerations". Also, the second part of the article analyzes the second chapter of the book, emphasizing on "General and foundational considerations", "Particular considerations about each method" and "Considerations about the application of these methods in the book".
