Nowadays the importance of critical thinking in training of scholars has been emphasized. The problem, however, is that the adjacency of Islamic religious propositions with critical thinking requires theoretical and experimental evaluation. This paper aims at investigation the relationship between critical thinking and main aspects of religiosity(beliefs, customs, and experience) through a quantitative survey and questionnaire. The sample consisted of MA students (350) in Alzahra University, Imam Sadegh University, and shahid Beheshti Universitys. The sampling was dome through Kukran formula. The results reveal that there is a positive and meaningful relationship between critical thinking, aspects of religiosity, beliefs, and customs. From among the sub-scales of critical thinking, the open mind scale had no meaningful relationship with other aspects. In addition, belief in curiosity had no relationship with other aspects. Moreover, the findings revealed highness of aspects of beliefs and experience and lowness of customs among the students. In term of critical thinking, 20% of the participants showed high level of critical thinking.
