One of the new issues in the education system of the developed countries is the inclusion of economic education programs along with basic and necessary skills, which shows the importance of the issue. The aim of this research is elucidation of economic education parameters based on Islamic teachings. The methodology used in this study is content analysis using deductive-inductive approach. The population of the study is Quran verses, extracted through targeted sampling, related to the issue. The research –made questionnaire used in this study was evaluated and corrected by experts.
The findings of the study reveal that in the elucidation of the parameters the basic three parameters are production, distribution, and consumption. In the production parameter, the three aspects are production factors, dynamic businesses, and productivity factors with 19 sub-branches; In the distribution parameter, the three aspects are the aim of distribution, financial tool of distribution, and pathology of wealth distribution with 16 sub-branches; in the consumption parameter the two aspects are needs and motivations of creating consumption with 13 sub-branches; these are all extracted and classified.
