All the better development of social right relations among people living in one society, is dependent upon providing and presenting social education based on culture, believes and educational policies of the society. Because our society culture is culture of Islam, it is duty of Islam followers especially authorities of education to explain and describe ideal social education according to Islamic basics.
In order to meet such an aim, the present article, first, provides a definition for social education on the basis of Imam Ali (Pbuh) and then, it extracts as well as explains basics and foundations of social education based on Nahj-ol-Balagheh.
It is among applied studies, and to analyze information, method "content analysis" has been used. It is important to note that this method aims at highlighting axes of one subject, or one text with the purpose of analyzing, explaining and presenting situations
