The main of this study is the emphasis on the neglected role and place of spirituality conditions in the lesson plans of universities and higher education centers. This research is theoretical-analytical based on the investigation and comparison of different sources in two sections, namely, topic-oriented and mixed-method approach. In the first approach, the spirituality is directly emphasized through formal courses such as Islamic teachings, ethics, and Islamic history; in the second approach, however, development of spirituality and spiritual capacities is seen as the main characteristics of university education and the capacity of special courses in different fields are employed for development of spirituality.
